§ 1. General

  1. These terms set out how you may use the Egzamy app (the Service), available at app.egzamy.com in the browser and as an app installed from the browser (PWA). They are the terms required by Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means.
  2. The Service is run by [to be filled in: business name], [to be filled in: registered address], NIP [to be filled in: tax id (NIP)], REGON [to be filled in: REGON], [to be filled in: CEIDG or KRS entry] (the Provider, "we"). Contact, including complaints: [to be filled in: contact email].
  3. Terms used: User – anyone using the Service; Consumer – a User who is a consumer under Article 22¹ of the Polish Civil Code; Account – a User's account in the Service; Free plan – using the Service without paying; Pro – the paid features described in § 2; Pro until your exam and Pro for 30 days – the one-off purchases of Pro described in § 7; Pro monthly – the subscription described in § 8, no longer sold to new buyers since 8 November 2026.
  4. The rules for Consumers also apply to a sole trader who concludes a contract directly related to their business when the contract is not of a professional nature for them (Article 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
  5. These terms are available free of charge at this address before you conclude a contract. You can save or print them from your browser.

§ 2. Services

  1. On the Free plan you get: the CEM exam question bank with explanations, notes, review, progress statistics, data export and deletion, and 1 mock exam per 30 days (counted from the day of the first one).
  2. Pro adds unlimited mock exams. Everything else works as on the Free plan.
  3. Your study data stays on your device by default. Once signed in, you can turn on cloud sync to use it on several devices.
  4. Trial: once per Account, for people who have never paid for Pro, we may offer Pro free for 7 days while your chosen exam sitting is at least 31 days away. No card is needed, it ends by itself and never turns into a paid plan.
  5. Referral days: when someone who used your referral link pays for Pro for the first time, you both get 14 days of Pro free, on the terms shown on the plans page. A full refund of that first payment takes the referral days back.
  6. The study content is a learning aid and does not guarantee an exam result. It is not medical or legal advice.
  7. We do not personalise prices through automated decision-making.

§ 3. Technical requirements

  1. You need a device with a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari in a version its maker still supports), with JavaScript and browser storage enabled (local storage, IndexedDB and the cookies needed to sign in).
  2. The first start, sign-in, sync, mock exams and payments need an internet connection. After the first start, studying the question bank also works offline.
  3. To create an Account you need an email address (or a Google account, if Google sign-in is enabled).
  4. Particular risks of electronic services include malware, phishing and someone taking over your email. Protect your device and email; we never ask for your password or sign-in code.

§ 4. Concluding and ending the free service contract

  1. You can use the Free plan without an Account. The contract to use the Service is concluded when you start using it and lasts as long as you use it.
  2. By creating an Account you accept these terms. The Account contract is concluded for an indefinite period when you confirm your email address.
  3. You can stop using the Service at any time, free of charge: stop using it, delete your data in Settings → Your data, or ask us to delete your Account at [to be filled in: privacy email].
  4. We may end the Account contract for good reason (a serious breach of these terms, closing the Service) with 30 days' notice sent by email. For a serious breach of § 5 we may block access at once, telling you why. We refund any paid, unused Pro time proportionally, unless the reason was your serious breach of these terms.

§ 5. Rules of use

  1. You must not supply unlawful content, including in notes.
  2. You must not: get around plan limits, share your Account with others, download the Service's content automatically (scraping), disrupt the Service or try to access other people's data.

§ 6. Buying Pro: order, price and payment

  1. Prices are in Polish złoty and are gross prices (VAT included). Current prices are on the Plans page. Pro until your exam costs, once, 149 zł more than 150 days before the sitting, 199 zł from 150 to 60 days before or 249 zł in the last 59 days; what counts is the number of days from the day you buy to the first day of the chosen sitting, by the date in Poland. Pro for 30 days costs 129 zł once. The price that applies on the day you buy is shown on the plans page and before payment; it is a price list by date, not a reduction from a higher price. Existing Pro monthly subscribers pay 59 zł a month.
  2. You must be signed in to buy Pro. You choose a plan and, before going to payment, tick the consent: you accept these terms and ask for the service to start before the withdrawal period ends (§ 9). You then confirm the order with the "Order with obligation to pay" button and pay on the payment provider's page.
  3. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited (Ireland). Pro until your exam and Pro for 30 days can be paid by card, BLIK or Przelewy24 (when enabled), Pro monthly by card. We never see or store your card or bank details.
  4. The Pro contract is concluded when the payment provider confirms the payment. Pro starts right after that confirmation, usually within seconds.
  5. You will receive a confirmation of the contract by email, with these terms, the information about the right of withdrawal and your consent.
  6. Invoices and payment confirmations are in Settings → Plan & billing. We issue a VAT invoice to a business on request.
  7. Discount codes, if we offer any, are entered on the payment page; we state the terms of each promotion with the code.

§ 7. Pro until your exam and Pro for 30 days

  1. Pro until your exam is one payment with no automatic renewal. When buying, you choose an LDEK exam sitting; access lasts from purchase until the first day of that sitting plus 14 days. The end date is shown before you buy and in Settings.
  2. If the Medical Examinations Centre (CEM) moves your chosen sitting, we extend access to the new date plus 14 days on request.
  3. Extension after a failed exam: if you do not pass the exam in the chosen sitting, you may once per purchase ask in Settings for Pro to be extended to the next sitting plus 14 days. You ask between the exam day and 90 days after access ends, and send your CEM result quoting the request number. We grant the extension when the result confirms a failed exam in the chosen sitting.
  4. Pro for 30 days is one payment with no automatic renewal. Access lasts 30 days from the payment confirmation; the end date is shown before you buy and in Settings. The extension after a failed exam (point 3) applies to Pro until your exam only.
  5. You can buy Pro until your exam or Pro for 30 days while no other Pro pass is running; Pro until your exam can also be bought while Pro for 30 days is running.

§ 8. Pro monthly

  1. Since 8 November 2026 we no longer conclude new Pro monthly contracts. The rules below apply to subscriptions concluded earlier, until they are cancelled. Pro monthly is a contract for an indefinite period, billed monthly and renewed automatically every month until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
  2. We charge 59 zł in advance at the start of each period to the card you gave at purchase.
  3. Cancelling: at any time in Settings → Plan & billing → Manage subscription (the Stripe portal). Pro keeps working until the end of the paid period and no further payment is taken. Cancelling is not withdrawal (§ 9) and gives no refund for the current period.
  4. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again; Pro keeps working until the retries end. You can change your card in the Stripe portal.
  5. We may change the Pro monthly price only for good reason (higher costs of third-party services, a change in law or tax rates). We will tell you by email at least 30 days in advance; the new price applies from the period starting after that only if you accept it. If you do not, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period.

§ 9. Withdrawal

  1. A Consumer may withdraw from the Pro contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason, by sending us a statement, for example by email to [to be filled in: contact email]. You may use the model form, but you do not have to.
  2. At purchase you ask for the service to start before that period ends. If you withdraw, you pay an amount proportional to the time Pro was active and we refund the rest (Article 35 of the Consumer Rights Act). The right of withdrawal ends only once the service has been fully provided (Article 38(1)(1)), that is after the access period ends.
  3. We refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method. Withdrawing from Pro monthly ends the subscription at once.
  4. Details, how the refund is calculated and the model form: Withdrawal and refunds.

§ 10. Complaints and conformity

  1. We are responsible for the services conforming to the contract for the whole time we provide them, under Chapter 5b of the Consumer Rights Act.
  2. You can complain by email to [to be filled in: contact email] or in writing to [to be filled in: registered address]. Describe the problem, give your Account email and, if you like, the solution you expect.
  3. We reply within 14 days of receiving the complaint, by email or in writing.
  4. If a service does not conform, you may ask us to bring it into conformity and, if that is impossible, ineffective or excessively costly, for a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract, as the law provides.
  5. We may change features of the Service for good reason (product development, security, changes in law, changes at our service providers). A change costs you nothing. If it significantly and negatively affects your use of Pro, we tell you by email in advance; you may then end the contract within 30 days and get a proportional refund.

§ 11. Out-of-court dispute resolution

  1. A Consumer may get help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or consumer organisations, and may use mediation or the permanent consumer arbitration court at a regional Trade Inspection office.
  2. Information about these options is on the UOKiK website. Taking part in out-of-court proceedings is voluntary for both sides.

§ 12. Personal data and cookies

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and cookies and browser storage on the Cookies page.

§ 13. Rights in content

  1. The Service's explanations, notes, illustrations and software are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study.
  2. Notes and other content you create are yours. We process them only to provide the service (for example to sync them between your devices).

§ 14. Changes to these terms

  1. We may change these terms for good reason: changes in law, decisions or rulings, changes in the scope or way the services are provided, changes at our service providers, improving security or removing ambiguity.
  2. We announce a change in the Service and by email (to Account holders) at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept it, you may end the contract free of charge before that day; on Pro monthly, cancel and get a proportional refund for the unused period.
  3. Pro until your exam bought before a change stays under the terms in force on the day of purchase, unless the change is better for you.

§ 15. Final provisions

  1. Polish law governs the contracts. This choice does not deprive a Consumer of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they habitually live.
  2. Disputes with Consumers go to the courts that have jurisdiction under general rules.
  3. The Polish version of these terms is binding; the English version is a translation.
  4. These terms apply from the date shown in the header (version 1.3).
